The Alpha Omega Volleyball Development League is designed for girls who want to build a strong foundation in volleyball while experiencing the excitement of organized team play.

Travel Ball vs. Development League

Families may choose to participate only in the Development League for the entire season, or athletes may attend Travel Team Tryouts if they are interested in a more competitive commitment. Tryouts for 11U–13U teams will be held on September 27, while 14U–17U teams will try out on October 4. Players who make a travel roster will transition into our travel program, those who do not want can still enjoy a full season in the Development League.

Evaluations & Team Selection

Every athlete will participate in a mandatory evaluation before teams are formed. This allows our coaching staff to evaluate each player’s current skill level, athletic ability, and overall volleyball knowledge so balanced teams can be created for the best possible developmental experience. Following evaluations, athletes will be placed on teams and families will receive their team assignment, practice schedule, and program information.

Program Costs

One-Time Evaluation Fee: $25 (Paid during registration)

One-Time Uniform Fee: $45 (Paid after team placement)

Monthly Program Fee: $100 per month (Begins after team selection)

Can be canceled at any time.

Practice & Training

Development League teams will practice twice each week at: Alpha Omega Sports Club - 2160 Grand Caillou Rd. Houma, LA. Each practice is designed to develop the complete player through technical instruction, skill repetition, game situations, and volleyball IQ. Our goal is to prepare every athlete to compete confidently while continuing to grow throughout the season.

League Play

League games will be held on Sunday evenings at: Lisa Park Gymnasium - 6639 Lisa Park Ave Houma, LA 70364. Games provide athletes with the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned during practice in a fun, competitive environment while receiving continued instruction from our coaching staff.
